In Phillip Island Circuit, Espargaro came out as the fastest racer in the second practice session with time of 1 minute 29.225 seconds. He beat Marquez who recorded time of 1 minute 29,230 seconds. Espargo said “Today is a good day and the results of the second free practice make us proud, but we still need a lot of progress before the race” by Crash.net. The second training session takes place in weather condition that is quite friendly and makes the drivers appear impressive.

As for the result in second practice, Aleix Espargaro was the fastest on track followed by Marquez, Dovizioso, Vinales and Rossi. On the other hand Lorenzo in 18th was clearly struggling to be competitive on this track with Ducati. Rossi was tenth of a second behind Espargaro with just five minutes left by the end of the session. The session was approaching the end and none of the opponents seemed to be running at the pace of the Spaniard in Aprilia.

Marquez’s time is very close to Espargo and Dovizioso owned the third best record which it is secure place to Espargaro among the top ten. However, there are some drivers who have to feel the heat of asphalt in this 4.4 km long track. Maverick Vinales who had the fourth fastest time of the session, suffered a crash with the speed 190 km/h at turn eight from his iron horse YZR.
