Usain Bolt Last Performance Increase Puma Income
The last performance of Jamaican
track star Usain Bolt has increased Puma Income. Puma, German sportswear brand
announced about their full year profit forecast for the third time in 2017
after they signed with athlete legend Usain Bolt and pop star Rihanna. The
world’s fastest man Usain Bolt is said to earn $33 million from his deal. This
German sportswear company expects to make big profit between €235 and €245
million euros in operating (about Rp 3.3 trillion).

That income amount is almost
double than before due to Bolt's performance using branded shoe Puma. Even this
earning is greater than the two other sportswear company competitor which
famous in USA like Nike and Adidas. Executives at the Nike and Adidas
competitor had previously forecast underlying profits of €205 to €215 million.
Puma income in past three months increased by Bolt's final competition
appearances at the IAAF world championships in London and Rihanna's fourth Puma
collaboration dazzling crowds at New York Fashion Week.
Puma reached €1.1 billion in
currency, up around 17 percent than last year around 990 million. It is
slightly higher than expected by analysts. With this sales, the income
increased double than last year in 2016 with €101 million. Over the full year,
Puma expects income to increase between 14 and 16 percent still in adjusted
terms from €3.6 billion last year. It did not offer a concrete forecast for net
profit. Puma plans to release full third quarter results on October 24th 2017.
