Volleyball player with the full name of Giberto Amaury de Godoy Filho was born on December 23, 1976, in Brazil. During the 2000s, he was known as one of the best volleyball players in the world while playing as an outsider. Giba played for Brazil during 1996 – 2012. Giba won the World Cup in 2003, the World League eight times (2001, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2009 and 2010). His team became the Superliga Champion in 1999-2000 and 2001-2001 and the three-time World Champion, in 2002, 2006 and 2010. He was voted as MVP (Most Valued Player) in 2006 and 2007. He always motivates all the Brazilian teams to play and almost unbeaten in the 2000s.

Hugo Conte
Hugo Néstor Conte is a former volleyball player from Argentina who was born in Buenos Aires on April 14, 1963. Hugo played for 3 different countries, Argentina, France, and Italy. Hugo Conte helped Argentina to win bronze at the 1988 Seoul Olympics and Argentina World Championships in 1982. Together with Italian team Santal Parma, Hugo, and his team won the European Champions League in 1984. Hugo Conte was recognized as one of the smartest and best volleyball players in a team that reflected his brilliant ability.

Jimmy George
Jimmy George (March 8, 1955 - November 30, 1987) was considered as one of the best volleyball players of all time. He was a former member of the Indian men's national volleyball team and the first Indian volleyball player who played in the Italian club. Jimmy George received great rewarded as an "Arjuna Award" in 21 years old. In 1975, he was given G.V. King Award and Manorama Award for Best Sportsman of Kerala. He and his team competed for India in Seoul Olympics 1986 and won bronze. In 1982-1984 and 1985-1987, George actively played in a professional club in Italy where he was considered as one of the best strikers in the world.

Josef Musil
Josef Musil was born July 3, 1932, and was a former Czechoslovak volleyball player. He joined the Czechoslovak Nation Team at the age 19 years old. Musil helped the team won twice in the Olympic medals in 1964 and 1968 for the Czechs, 5 World Championship medals, and 3 European Championships in 1952 and 1967. He also won 7 Czech championships and 1 Italian title. He was nicknamed as Merited Master of Sport which was the highest honor awarded to athletes during that period by the former Czech ruler. FIVB also named it as one of the best volleyball players of the century.
